ABOUT THE CENTER

Located in the Nicetown neighborhood of North Philadelphia, the 100,000-square-foot Alan Horwitz “Sixth Man” Center is a world-class facility designed to designed to provide a safe space for youth, caregivers, and community members to access basketball and non-basketball programming and resources. As a dynamic hub for young people and the community, the Center offers versatile spaces for education, recreation, events, and personal growth. With cutting-edge amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, the Sixth Man Center is a resource for fostering academic, intellectual, social, emotional, civic, and vocational development—transforming lives and empowering the community for generations to come.

Monday - 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Tuesday - 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Wednesday - 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Thursday - 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Friday - 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Saturday - 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Sunday - 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

PARKING

The Sixth Man Center (4250 Wissahickon Avenue) has a parking lot located in the rear of the building, including designated ADA accessible spots. For large events, there is also ample street parking on Wissahickon Avenue and Roberts Avenue. There are also ample auxiliary lots available for events of any size.
