Early Years Summer Learning

Learn Basketball And Build Fundamentals On And Off The Court!

Early Years Summer Learning at the Sixth Man Center provides rising K–5th graders with a fun and engaging experience focused on early literacy, learning through play, and social-emotional growth. Each day includes interactive reading activities, hands-on enrichment, and movement-based play, with healthy meals provided.

Weeks 1 through 8

Time: 8 AM to 4 PM

Days: Monday through Friday

Grades: Co-Ed, K through 5th

Price: $100 to $400 per week, Dependent on Scholarship Level

Teen Rec Night

Show Your Love Of Basketball, On & Off The Court

Teen Rec Night is a basketball-centered mentorship program that harnesses the unifying power of basketball and a safe “third space” to develop young people into the next generation of leaders. Rooted in the African philosophy of ubuntu—the belief that "I am because we are," which highlights our interconnected humanity— we create an environment for teens to grow, heal, and thrive within a supportive community, on & off the court.

We push aspiring players to grow in the game while raising the importance of their life skills & career readiness. We also embrace youth who love the game to explore leadership around the game, off the court.

Weeks 1 through 8

Time: 5 PM to 8 PM

Days: Monday through Friday

Grades: Co-Ed, 9th through 12th

Price: $75 to $300 per week, Dependent on Scholarship Level

Lace Up & Learn Up Summer Camp Series

Lace Up, Learn Up, Level Up!

Lace Up and Learn Up (LULU) Summer Camp at the Sixth Man Center offers rising 3rd to 9th graders a dynamic mix of basketball-intensive skill development, fitness, and off-court enrichment. Campers will engage in gameplay, an Academic Power Hour focused on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and enjoy healthy meals daily. This basketball-intensive program is perfect for youth who love the game and are ready to commit to a full week of skill-building and personal growth.

Weeks 1 through 8

Time: 8 AM to 4 PM

Days: Monday through Friday

Grades: Co-Ed, 3rd through 9th

Price: $100 to $400 per week, Dependent on Scholarship Level

PYB Summer League

Compete. Battle. Become a Champion.

The PYB Summer League is the ultimate competitive basketball experience for youth ready to elevate their game and compete for a championship. Players will be placed on teams, sharpen their skills through intense league play, and battle for the title in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. With passionate coaches, a strong community atmosphere, and a championship mindset, this league is where athletes push their limits and prove they have what it takes to win.

Weeks 1 through 8

Time: 5 PM to 8 PM

Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Grades: Co-Ed, 4th through 8th

Price: $50 to $200 for 8 weeks, Dependent on Scholarship Level

Early Years Academy

Learn Basketball and Literacy At A Young Age!

The Early Years Academy helps young kids learn basketball and build their fundamentals both on and off the court. It focuses on developing skills through fun games and practices, while also offering mentorship, leadership growth, and life lessons like teamwork and healthy habits. The program brings together youth from across the city in a safe, fun environment to encourage a love for learning.

Weeks 1 through 8

Time: 5 PM to 7 PM

Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Grades: Co-Ed, K through 4th
